Are Court Records Public in Banks County?

Banks County Probate Court Records
The Banks County Probate Court holds exclusive original jurisdiction over the probate of wills, administration of estates, appointment of guardians for minors and incapacitated adults, and conservatorship matters. The court is also authorized to issue marriage licenses, firearms licenses, and — in counties without a State Court — to hear certain misdemeanor and traffic cases.

Note on Wills Filed for Safekeeping
Per the Banks County Probate Court, a will submitted to the court for safekeeping before the testator's death is not a public record.
